[Verse 1] I’m a good soldier of God. I discover, in his squad, I shouldn’t get entangled, nor applaud all sinful practices which are odd. [interlude] [Chorus] I serve the King of glory, the Lord strong and mighty, who is mighty in battle letting strongholds rattle. [Chorus] I serve the King of glory, the Lord strong and mighty, who is mighty in battle letting strongholds rattle. [interlude] [Chorus] I serve the King of glory, the Lord strong and mighty, who is mighty in battle letting strongholds rattle. [Verse 2] Though evil is around: in God I’m safe and sound– I will fear no evil; love, in God, is found; there will be peace, there will be peace– no one will take my crown. Evil will cease, evil will cease; the enemy, forever, will be bound. [Verse 3] And the enemy: I will not fear. God’s word: do I hear. I will: draw near; Holding God: with good cheer… My sins: have he cleared… To God: I’ll adhere. [Chorus] I serve the King of glory, the Lord strong and mighty, who is mighty in battle letting strongholds rattle. [Instrumental]
