The Greatest Command

You walked among the humble and the proud, Still only a few really carry your crown. Some wear your name like a chain for the crowd, But forget the commands that you laid down. They can cast out demons, prophesy in your lane, But if love ain’t the motive, then it’s all in vain. ’Cause the axis of your gospel wasn’t mystery or fame— You said the only Law that saves is how we treat His name… In each other. Every brother. Every mother. Every stranger we discover. It ain’t the flex you thought it was when you judge others you are judged That’s what that Hebrew rabbi said ’Cause a loveless life is empty Like a gospel that is dead. ⸻ You taught us love—never shame your brother. For the one we hurt ain’t truly another. Don’t judge, don’t blame, don’t attack, don’t condemn, ’Cause the measure you give is the one you get again. ⸻ This is the greatest command of them all! Love one another is the Law. Eternal life is the Golden Rule— Do unto others as you Would want them to do to you. This is the greatest command of them all! Love one another is the Law. Eternal life is the Golden Rule— Do unto others as you Would want them to do to you. [Female vocal] This is the greatest command! Love God, Love People — This is the greatest command! Love God, Love People — Sowing and reaping, giving then receiving— That’s my Father’s Law; that’s the life we’re breathing. Don’t think you get a pass from the love you never gave By confessing blind faith you don’t live day-to-day. Nah— He’s weighing what you offered, not the “doctrine” you said. ’Cause we’re judged by the love that we poured out instead. The Golden Rule ain’t cute—it’s the path and the door, The Way of Love that the prophets died for. You want the kingdom? Then break your blade. Forgive the ones who betrayed. Free the ones who were enslaved. Love the people I forgave. And by this— Yeah, by this you are saved. ⸻ You want the Kingdom? Then live unafraid. Forgive the ones Who walked away. Bring freedom to all who have been chainedwe all are born again— That’s the Jesus Way… ⸻ This is the greatest command of them all! Love one another is the Law. Repent, forgive, lift up your brother. Repent, forgive, care for the suffering. Repent, forgive— Love one another. ⸻ This is the greatest command of them all! Love one another is the Law.
