Clothed in Strength (unplugged)

She’s been through fire, but she doesn’t smell like smoke, Walked through the valley, still carrying hope. Tears on her pillow, prayers in the night, Woke up every morning and stepped toward the light. She doesn’t need armor the world can see, Her strength comes from somewhere deeper than belief. Grace in her footsteps, truth in her eyes, She knows who she is, and she knows where strength lies. She may bend, But she won't break. She may wait, But she keeps the faith. When the wind says, “Run,” She stands her ground— Because the voice of fear Can’t drown faith out. She is clothed in strength and dignity, Grace on her shoulders, faith underneath. She looks at tomorrow and doesn’t run, She laughs at the future because she knows Who’s won. No fear in her heart, No chains on her feet, She walks through the fire And still carries peace. She is clothed, She is covered, She is held by the Father— And she laughs without fear of the future. Ha-ha— Tomorrow, you don’t scare me. Ha-ha— My God goes before me. Ha-ha— I know who holds my story. So I laugh, I laugh, I laugh at the worry. She doesn’t pretend that the road is easy, She just knows fear doesn't get to lead her. Bills on the table, storms at the door, Still she remembers what she's standing for. She plants in the morning, She prays in the night, She speaks with wisdom, She walks in the light. The world says, “What if?” Her faith says, “Even then.” Because the God who carried her before Will carry her again. She may cry, But she still sings. She may fall, But she knows her King. And every shadow Has to move When a woman of faith Walks in truth. Yeah— Fear said, “Girl, you better panic.” She said, “Nope, my faith is established.” Future looking wild, headlines dramatic, But heaven stays calm, so I’m picking that habit. I’ve got strength I didn't manufacture, Grace in the middle of every disaster. Dignity fitted, faith is the fashion, Walking with purpose, moving with passion. I don't know tomorrow— I know Who does. I don't trust the chaos— I know God's love. So when worry knocks, Tell it, “Wrong address.” I’m already covered, Already blessed. Strength on me. Grace on me. Mercy every morning waiting on me. Future tried to make me shake— I laughed. Because fear doesn't own me. SHE IS STRONG! Not because life was easy! SHE HAS DIGNITY! Not because people always treated her right! SHE HAS NO FEAR! Not because she knows what tomorrow brings— BUT BECAUSE SHE KNOWS WHO HOLDS TOMORROW! She is clothed in strength and dignity, Heaven has written her identity. She looks at tomorrow and lifts her head, Faith in her heart and no fear ahead. She has walked through valleys, She has crossed deep seas, But the God of yesterday Is the God she still believes. She is clothed, She is covered, She is held by the Father— And she laughs without fear of the future. She doesn't know What tomorrow will bring. But she knows Who will be there. So she smiles. She stands tall. She walks forward. And when fear asks, “Aren't you worried about the future?” She laughs. Because her future Is already in God's hands.
