Inner Voices
(Part 1: The Robbery) Yo, I’m sneakin’ in the corner, eyes on the prize, Cash in my hand, no time for goodbyes. Silent footsteps, heart beatin’ loud, Tonight’s the night I make the crowd proud. Glass shatters, alarms blare, but I don’t care, Fingers on the trigger, devil in the air. Quick grab, bolt out, escape the scene, Livin’ fast, chasin’ that illegal dream. No hesitation, I’m in control, But deep down, I know I’m losin’ my soul. It’s the rush that blinds, the thrill that wins, But I know one day, it all begins again. (Part 2: The Overdose) Hold up, I’m the voice that’s drownin’ in guilt, Thinkin’ ’bout a girl, life’s blood spilt. She was my everything, now she’s gone too soon, Left me in the dark, under the moon. She OD’d, I was too late, couldn’t save her, Felt the weight of the world, I’ll never forget her. Thought I could fix her, be her savior, But addiction’s a beast, a deadly behavior. Now I walk through the shadows, haunted by her face, Questionin’ my role in this tragic case. Could I have done more? Did I turn away? Regret’s a heavy chain I carry every day. (Part 3: The Heartbreak and Guilt) And I’m the one who found her cheat, Heart shattered, life incomplete. Saw her with another, my trust betrayed, Fell to my knees, my heart decayed. Thought I knew her, thought she was mine, Now she’s gone, left me behind. Couldn’t handle the pain, the love turned to hate, So I ended it—sealed her fate. Now I sit in the darkness, lost and cold, Regretting the stories never told. Love’s a gamble, and I lost the game, Took my life, cursed her name. (Interlude: The Inner Battle) Yeah, two voices screamin’ in my head, One says go, the other says dead. The fight inside, it never ends, Inner war—who’s gonna win? (Part 4: The Redemption) Yo, I hear the cry, I see the pain, Got to find the strength to start again. From the darkness, I rise, I fight, Hold on tight, gotta make it right. Help somebody, break the chain, Turn your life around, don’t feel the shame. It’s never too late, you’re not alone, Find your way back, make it your own. Heal the wounds, forgive yourself, Life’s a gift, don’t throw it in the well. Redemption’s near, just take the hand, Be the hero of your own life’s stand. (Part 5: The Final Despair) He saw her with another, love torn apart, A shattered soul, a broken heart. He couldn’t breathe, felt the darkness close, Lost in the pain, no hope, no dose. He thought about the memories, the promises made, Now all that’s left is the pain that stayed. He couldn’t face it, the betrayal too deep, Fell to his knees, his mind lost in sleep. He reached for the knife, tears in his eyes, A final act, no goodbyes. Thought the world would forget, erase the pain, Endin’ it all, drownin’ in the rain. (Part 6: The Aftermath) Now he’s gone, left a hole in the life he knew, A love betrayed, a story so cruel. His family’s cryin’, the world feels cold, A tragic ending, a story untold. No more voices, no more battle inside, Just silence where his soul used to reside. A heartbreak so heavy, it broke the chain, A life lost in the aftermath of pain. (Outro) Sometimes love’s a fire that burns too bright, Leading us into the endless night. Remember, pain can drown the brave, Hold on tight—don’t let yourself cave.
