[Verse 1] Niko packed his fishing gear with lots of willing bait. He planned a day of fishing, he was excited and couldn't wait. He drove down to the lake. to what would be another successful day. He reached the lake and it was game on only he didn't come to play. [Verse 2] The fish heard him approaching and assembled in their pack Panic spread throughout the lake The announcement was "Niko's back!" A trout gave a proper Kurtsie to the fishing king of the lake. A baass said, “No, I'M the boss here, a title you won't take!” The perch was quiet and shy; the pike was sharp and sly, A sunfish wore sunglasses to hide he wanted to cry. [Chorus] Everything’s coming up Niko, the fish all shout with woe, He reels them in, they splash and spin, off to supper they go. He pulls them left, but they flop right and a tug of war ensues. Niko doubles down and says "this war you're gonna lose" [Verse 3] A catfish with a whiskery grin said, “Check out my profile, pal. I’m a cute, single catfish and I'm just your type of gal." Niko said, “That photo’s fishy, and your story’s full of holes." And with a smile and a wink, he hooked it with his pole. The catfish tried her best, but Niko wouldn't bite. She flopped around and fought the line with all her charming might. She eventually surrendered, knowing she'd be dead. Niko smiled and said "You won't reel me in with your sexy talk, I'll reel youuuuu in instead [Verse 4] The bluegill calmly bragged, “I can out-pull any man!” The walleye looked Niko up and down and hatched a clever plan. The salmon yelled, “Upstream!” then swam the wrong way round, While a grumpy old carp muttered, “we should've tried another pond.” [Verse 5] Niko finally came across a sassy big mouthed baass the baass smiled a big mouthed grin "SO, we meet AGAIN!" Niko came prepared and said "you've finally met your match." The baass laughed and said "I know I'm a great catch, maybe the greatest catch of all. But today, YOU'RE the one who's met your match. the mighty king will fall." [Verse 6] Niko knew a great duel was about to take place. Niko's skills we're all in sync and hooked him in the face. The big mouth baass flopped and flopped trying hard to break free But Niko planted his feet and said: “You’re coming home with me!” The baass finally surrendered since he didn't stand a chance. And Niko thought he heard the baass's last words he whispered "Call me Lance" [Chorus] Everything’s coming up Niko, the fish all shout with woe, He reels them in, they splash and spin, off to supper they go. He pulls them left, but they flop right and a tug of war ensues. Niko doubles down and says "this war you're gonna lose" [Bridge] The trout tried sweet-talking, the baass tried to bluff, The pike made a speech and yelled: “This is quite enough!” The catfish cried, “Swim away fast! Don’t trust that honest face!” Niko laughed, kept reeling em in, and won the whole damn race. [Verse 7] The fish knew they'd been beaten After putting up a good fight The king reigned supreme and said "I've got supper planned tonight." After a few more hours the lake was calm once more the fish that swam away knew Niko would be back to settle the score. Niko gave the fish a final peak "I'll be back for you next week." He grabbed his giant haul and loaded it in his truck "so good bye for now and, as always, good luck!"
