[Verse] Iggy the iguana woke up with a grin The jungle was calling Let the day begin He had a big job Oh what a feat Collecting dew water So shiny and sweet [Chorus] Oh Iggy Oh Iggy What will you do Forgotten your task and the morning dew Oh Iggy Oh Iggy The leaf is right there But you're chasing a butterfly up in the air [Verse 2] He saw a banana He gave it a poke Then he heard a toucan who told a good joke He danced by the river He twirled on a vine Forgot all the water But he sure felt fine [Chorus] Oh Iggy Oh Iggy What will you do Forgotten your task and the morning dew Oh Iggy Oh Iggy The leaf is right there But you're chasing a butterfly up in the air [Bridge] The sun started shining The dew disappeared Iggy scratched his head and then he cheered "I may have forgotten But that’s okay I had the best time What a wonderful day" [Chorus] Oh Iggy Oh Iggy What will you do Forgotten your task and the morning dew Oh Iggy Oh Iggy The leaf is right there But you're chasing a butterfly up in the air
