one step forward Ft BrokenPages

one is bigger than two and two is less than three did you catch the error in the text or was it sung with bravado, confidence that it flew right over your head now a days we are programmed to ignore any inconsistency that might inconvenience me or you or anyone really where once we had a brain now we have a head an emptiness you can audibly hear so what are you supposed to do when all you do or say is conditioned from the start just to end a certain way do you give up???? or move forward..... one step two step, never together at a time but they always get you moving a direction one step two step, wherever shall they leed as long as your not stagnant who cares if you dont make it to the destination you had in mind if you dont make it to the destination you had in mind at least you can say you gave it a try one step two step one step two step one.... Now isn't this fun? Two step One step Two step one step Two step One Did you notice I sang that wrong? Or did you just go on, hum along Wander along like nothing changed That's the way it goes you know It isn't obvious, it isn't strange As long as everyone thinks it's the same Step once, step twice, just close your eyes Whatever you do, don't even bother to try It's fine, it's fine, everything's fine Just step once, step twice, everything's fine One step Two step One step Two step One . . . One step Two step One step Two step One . . . Just keep acting like this is all fun Step along, right, left, right, left, right Never the same, never in time, but just keep saying it's fine It's all fine, it's the way it goes, Out of sync, out of time, but it's all fine One step Two step One step Two step One . . . On and on We'll never be done one step two one step two step, never together at a time but they always get you moving a direction one step two step, wherever shall they leed as long as your not stagnant who cares if you dont make it to the destination you had in mind at least you can say you gave it a try one step two step one step two step one.... one.... just take that step......... One . . . On and on We'll never be done one step
