Parasect: We Are the Spore Crown

V5

[Verse 1] Crab-shell limbs, eyes gone dim, four thin legs that carry "him". But atop, where shadow thrives, we expand — alive, alive. Mushroom cap, broad and high, our roots dig deep where dreams all die. [Pre-Chorus] He is nothing once apart — no will, no beat, no twitch, no heart. Only damp, dark air sustains, and silent fear in trembling veins. Sunlight kills. But here below… "we" command. "We" grow. "We" own. [Verse 2] *Leech Life* — the sap runs thin, stolen juice from dying kin. Roots drained bare, bark turns gray — another tree must pay today. Nutrients climb, absorbed by "us", the host just walks, obedient, dumb. [Chorus] We are Parasect, crowned in mold, *Spore* drops down — surrender to gold. Sleep or sickness, cure or pain, we decide who wakes again. No light, no law, no voice above — only the fungus… ruling with love. [Verse 3] *Slash* — the claw descends like stone, cuts the air with brittle bone. *Venoshock* floods with bitter sting, poison thickens, hurts again. Each wound fed, each breath denied — his pain becomes our rising tide. [Bridge] We bloom where others dare not tread — Shiinotic claims the living bed, but "we" hold court in ancient rot, where roots are ours, and growth is not. Our spores can heal, or twist the vein — in Alola, weak… but "still" remain. Medicine, decay, the same: power drawn from silent pain. [Verse 4] Slow we walk, but sure we strike, obedience wrapped in fungal spike. He thinks not, feels not, leads not — "we" whisper through the canopy. Territory marked in mist and dread… a fallen log, a hollow head. Fight for land, for damp, for height — the strongest crown shall feed tonight. [Chorus] We are Parasect, crowned in mold, *Spore* drops down — surrender to gold. Sleep or sickness, cure or pain, we decide who wakes again. No light, no law, no voice above — only the fungus… ruling with love.
