Questions w/o Ɲames
I’m trying to build my life back, but it feels like I’m touching pieces I can’t even see. I’m fumblin’ through the dark with a thousand-piece mess, every piece a heartbreak I’m scared to address. No picture on the box, no edges I can trace, just memories sharp enough to cut my face. I reach for a piece that feels like hurt I didn’t ask for. Touch another one— it’s the sound of him walkin’ out the door. I piece together questions that don’t have names, tryin’ to rebuild life in a mind full of flames. They want answers, they want order, they want the picture done— but I’m blind in a storm tryin’ not to come undone. Blinded… I’m reaching for a life I can’t see anymore. Blinded… every piece I touch takes me back to before. Blinded… tryin’ to build from the wreckage on my floor, but these hands don’t know the picture anymore. I’m feelin’ for shapes in the dark, tryin’ to find where I fell apart. Life expects clarity, a puzzle put together clean, but they don’t see the pieces that still bleed between. They don’t see me reaching with hands that shake, tryin’ to fit memories that don’t fit the shape. Every piece is a question I ain’t ready to face, every missing piece is a wound I can’t replace. They want the finished picture— but I’m graspin’ at the air, building blind, broken, with pieces that ain’t all there. What do you do when the puzzle doesn’t match your skin? When the pieces don’t belong where they’ve always been? Blinded… still reaching through the damage and fear. Blinded… hoping someday this picture gets clear. I sit with the pieces that cut me most, the ones shaped like my brother and the ones shaped like ghosts. I’m trying to form a picture with grief as my guide, but every piece reminds me of the night he died. I’m feeling for answers with hands that feel raw, like building a life with nothing but scars. Still, I keep reaching in the dark I’m in, hoping someday I’ll know where to begin. Blinded… I’m reaching for a life I can’t see anymore. Blinded… every piece still shakes me to the core. Blinded… but I’m still tryin’.
