We are sparks beneath the furnace, naming fire just to stay. Every dream folds in on pressure, every promise slips away. The heavens blur their architecture, the soil reclaims its seed. We crown collapse as purpose and worship what we bleed. What empire lasts when silence reigns? What soul resists the tide of space? We carve our prayers in dying light then vanish without trace. We forged our myths from fear of absence, but absence never learned our names. The worlds revolve without remembrance yet still, we burn the same. Through endless dark, I cast defiance, a spark unbound from scale. To matter once, if just in ruin to die immense, and fail. The choirs drown beneath the iron rain, foundations ache in strain. What we built now builds without us a monument to pain. Language folds upon its edges, meaning sheds its skin. We speak in glass and memory, and wonder where we’ve been. We reach, we fade, we rage, we fall. Nothing listens, nothing at all. And still we crown ourselves divine, a god that’s deaf to its own design. Crush the scale beneath my hands! Tear the axis, shatter lands! Let the stars bear witness, cold to how the smallest thing still holds! We forged our myths from fear of absence, but absence never learned our names. The worlds revolve without remembrance yet still, we burn the same. Let the endless know this instant, let oblivion feel the flame. If all returns to nameless change, let me be the spark that claimed its name. The light retreats, the choir fades, the dream resumes its aimless phase. No god, no witness, no remains only stillness… and what it feigns!
