The Heavens Declare (Psalm 19)

[Chorus] The heavens declare The skies shout His name Day pours out speech Night sings the same No voice No words Yet the message is clear From the ends of the earth His glory appears [Verse 1] In the beginning He spoke light to the dark The Word was with God The true holy spark Through Him All was made Not a thing came to be Without His breath There’s no life No sea The sun runs its race No rest No delay Like a groom from his chamber Bringing the day [Chorus] The heavens declare The skies shout His name Day pours out speech Night sings the same No voice No words Yet the message is clear From the ends of the earth His glory appears [Verse 2] Invisible power Seen in all He’s designed From the heights of the throne to the depths of the mind The train of His robe fills the temple with awe Seraphim cry holy No flaw in His law Smoke fills the room The foundations shake The earth knows its Maker It cannot fake [Chorus] The heavens declare The skies shout His name Day pours out speech Night sings the same No voice No words Yet the message is clear From the ends of the earth His glory appears [Bridge] Where were you when He laid the world’s frame Tamed the seas Gave the stars their name Do you know where light lives Where darkness hides Who commands the rain Who rides the skies But behold A new heaven A city of gold No need for the sun His face shines bold
