Track 1 – In the Beginning, There Was Only – The Elder Scrolls Musical (Act I)
[Intro – Deep ambient void tones, distant chimes, swelling orchestral drone] [Male Narrator – spoken, low and slow, echo FX:] In the beginning... there was only the Void. No light. No law. No time. No name. Aurbis — the totality, endless and unshaped. [Soft choral voices enter beneath, barely audible] Then… Anu arose — the Stasis. A singular thought, still and pure. And Padomay — the Change — shuddered into being, restless and raw. [Verse 1 – Spoken narration, orchestral swell begins, heartbeat drums fade in] Anu dreamed order. Padomay desired motion. From their clash, the interplay of being began. And in that collision… came the idea of self. [Light strings begin to tremble under the voice] Time was born when Anu moved to contain Padomay. Form was born when Padomay struck back. And between them, Aurbis split — not broken, but *possible.* [Verse 2 – Spoken faster, tone rising, dramatic delivery] From possibility sprang the spirits — the et’Ada. Beautiful. Limitless. Divine. Each one a shape, a song, a will. And among them... Lorkhan. The Trickster. The Mad Idea. The Mortal Thought. [Choir and synths rise in dissonant chords. Tension builds.] Lorkhan saw the void and wept for meaning. He whispered to the et’Ada: "What if we made a place where we could *feel?*" "What if we built a world that could *die?*" [Verse 3 – Spoken louder, theatrical] The spirits argued, some cried treason. But others listened. Magnus drew blueprints of stars. Trinimac forged courage into being. Auri-El wept, but helped. And they began — They began to build *Mundus.* [Music swells with orchestral force and ritual drums] [Verse 4 – Delivered with emotional weight, rising to a crescendo] They tore pieces from themselves, pouring essence into stone, sky, and soul. Creation devoured their power — and in the end, they were trapped. Bound to the wheel. Mortal. Wounded. Real. [Softer, broken echo FX — choral voices echo the fall] Some fled. Some hid. Some remained as gods. Others as ghosts. And some... fell silent forever. [Outro – Voice slows, string section fades into soft hymn] [Male Narrator – solemn, reverent tone] And so was born the wheel of existence. Kalpa upon kalpa. Dream upon dream. Life, death, and return. This is how it began. This… is why we sing. [Final Note – Deep chime, soft ambient choir, pipe organ swell]
