[Intro: Solo deep cathedral church bells toll slowly 8 times, long echoes, no instruments, then distorted bass enters, followed by crushing electric guitars and drums] When darkness falls upon the land And death comes crawling through the sand A thousand fall upon my right Ten thousand swallowed by the night Yet I shall stand, I shall not fear The Lord my refuge, ever near Beneath His wings my soul shall hide The God of hosts stands by my side NO FEAR! NO FALL! THE LORD MY FORTRESS OVER ALL! THOUGH DEATH MAY WALK UPON THE LAND BENEATH HIS SHADOW I SHALL STAND! [Heavy guitar riff, cathedral bells toll] The hunter sets his hidden snare The pestilence corrupts the air The arrows fly beneath the sun But in His name I shall not run No evil shall approach my door His angels guard forevermore Upon their hands my feet they bear Through fire and darkness, He is there NO FEAR! NO FALL! THE LORD MY FORTRESS OVER ALL! THOUGH DEATH MAY WALK UPON THE LAND BENEATH HIS SHADOW I SHALL STAND! [Crushing instrumental breakdown, slow church bells] The lion roars, the serpent strikes The dragon rises in the night Yet by His strength beneath my feet The powers of darkness face defeat When I shall call, He answers me In tribulation, sets me free His saving grace shall be my light My God, my refuge, and my might NO FEAR! NO FALL! THE LORD MY FORTRESS OVER ALL! THOUGH DEATH MAY WALK UPON THE LAND BENEATH HIS SHADOW I SHALL STAND! [Final church bells, guitars fade] My refuge… My fortress… My God… In Him I trust.
