Lyrics ©2025 Ed Rendum (@edrendum) All Rights Reserved =============================== I'm in the garden, it's freezing and it started snowing light, Wearing a t-shirt and my boxers, you know that isn't right, She forced me out into the cold when we got in a fight, Please don't let me freeze to death on this Christmas night... I didn't wanna tell her what I got her, 'cause that's a surprise, She started stompin' like a toddler, said I wasn't being nice, She got that rolling pin and demon look within her eyes, Now I'm in the garden, not a neighbour hears my cries... I'll just sit here in the corner, slowly turning into ice Am I dreaming, am I hearing things? Sleighbells jingle like an angel sings, Must be hypothermia, though I feel okay, Yet, I see reindeer and a big ol' sleigh! Inside it a man dressed like Santa Claus, I try to move, yet I pauze, This must be a cold related dream When from the house came a startling scream I was wide awake, my heart was pounding, I'm still alive, that's quite astounding! I ran to Santa: "You're really here!" And got kicked out cold by a reindeer... I didn't wanna tell her what I got her, 'cause that's a surprise, She started stompin' like a toddler, said I'm telling lies, I got the chance to look Santa straight in the eyes, But his reindeer kick real hard, they aren't nice... I'll just lie here in the bushes, slowly turning into ice I woke up on the couch, sore but glad that I still lived, When under the Christmas tree I saw a brand new shiny gift, It was my baby's special kinda Christmas gift for me, She got Santa to deliver it in person, actually I get her present out of hiding, Hoping it was worth the fighting, The cold, the snow, the reindeer kick, She screams of joy, it did the trick If one day you see Santa land, Beware of the reindeer's business end, They pull the sleigh and other tricks, And have the meanest kind of kicks... I didn't wanna tell her what I got her, got to keep it a surprise, Almost ended up deep frozen, due to her relentless tries, To reveal her Christmas present, but to my guns I will stick, I won't tell her what I got her, even after a reindeer kick...
