Rise Like Fire

[Verse] She walked through the ashes her feet were bare Every step a whisper every breath a dare The night tried to claim her but she wouldn’t fall Her shadow stretched tall her heart held it all [Prechorus] Chains rattled loud but she broke the sound The weight tried to crush her but she stood her ground [Chorus] She rose like fire burned through the night Tears turned to diamonds catching the light She danced on the edge of the devil’s game And laughed as she beat him called out his name [Verse 2] Her hands bore scars of battles untold But her grip on hope was fierce and bold The mirror once shattered now reflects her glow A woman reborn from the depths below [Chorus] She rose like fire burned through the night Tears turned to diamonds catching the light She danced on the edge of the devil’s game And laughed as she beat him called out his name [Bridge] The devil said "stay down you don’t belong" But she sang back her life in a warrior’s song "Your chains won’t hold me I’m more than you see I’m the storm the phoenix rising free"
