Every War Ain't the End

V6

[Intro] Yeah— Every siren, every headline, every battlefield scene, Somebody yelling, “Jesus is coming, you know what I mean?” But hold up— Why does every war become a prophecy sign? Why does blood on the ground mean the end of mankind? [Verse 1] Another bomb drops, “The prophecy’s here,” Another war starts, “The Kingdom is near,” Another mother cries, another child runs, And somebody online says, “The countdown’s begun.” Come on—really? Is that all it takes? A missile in the sky and your timeline shakes? A tyrant makes a threat, markets start to fall, And suddenly Revelation explains it all? Why turn human suffering into a prediction? Why turn tragedy into divine ammunition? People are dying—you call it a sign, Instead of asking how we stop it this time. You see destruction, I see human decisions, You see prophecy, I see political divisions. You see the apocalypse written in the flames, I see people with power playing dangerous games. [Hook] Why does every war mean Jesus is coming? Why does every bomb mean the trumpet is sounding? Why does every headline become “the last days”? Why does every bloodshed get framed that way? Maybe war is just war, pain is just pain, Maybe humans keep repeating the same old game. If your faith needs a battlefield to prove it's true, Then what does peace mean to you? [Verse 2] Every generation thinks it's living at the end, Every century finds a villain to condemn. Kings, empires, presidents, nations collide, And somebody says, “The signs are worldwide.” Then decades go by and the prediction falls flat, New headline comes and we're right back at that. Different war, same claim, different year, Same certainty, same fear, same “He's almost here.” And I’m not saying faith can't mean hope, I'm questioning the way fear gets used as a rope. “Look at the violence, better get on your knees,” But shouldn't compassion be the message you preach? Why make somebody's suffering part of your chart? Why make an innocent death proof of your part? If somebody loses everything in a war, Is that really the moment you're waiting for? [Hook] Why does every war mean Jesus is coming? Why does every bomb mean the trumpet is sounding? Why does every headline become “the last days”? Why does every bloodshed get framed that way? Maybe war is just war, pain is just pain, Maybe humans keep repeating the same old game. If your faith needs a battlefield to prove it's true, Then what does peace mean to you? [Verse 3] I hear, “Watch the signs,” every time things get tense, But what about watching the people getting crushed by the events? What about the refugees, what about the dead? What about the families that can't get out of bed? What about choosing mercy instead of prediction? What about helping people instead of chasing conviction? If you believe your Savior is coming someday, Why celebrate destruction when you could choose another way? A war isn't a prophecy just because it's severe, A tragedy isn't evidence because it creates fear. History's been violent since history began, Doesn't mean heaven scheduled every war by hand. Stop turning every crisis into some cosmic clue, Stop acting like the end has to revolve around you. Maybe the question isn't, “Is Jesus coming soon?” Maybe the question is, “What are we doing right now?” [Bridge] War isn't proof. Blood isn't proof. Fear isn't proof. A headline isn't proof. You can believe— Just don't confuse prediction with certainty. Don't turn somebody's suffering Into your confirmation. [Final Hook] Why does every war mean Jesus is coming? Why does every bomb mean the trumpet is sounding? Why does every death become another sign? Why does “the end” always seem one headline away every time? Maybe stop looking for heaven in the smoke, Maybe stop turning tragedy into a religious joke. If peace is what you preach, then let peace be the aim— Not another war turned into prophecy bait. [Outro] Every war ain't the end. Every headline ain't a sign. People are hurting right now— Maybe that's where we start.
