[Intro-Deep, measured chant in unison] "From the First, the creed was spoken. From the First, the vow unbroken." Verse I Chalice black, yet filled with light, Faith preserved in endless night. Guardians of the ancient creed, Our silence shouts what souls most need. Bridge Raise the vessel, uncorrupt, Drink the truth, the heretic struck. Through our lips, His word is flame, Unbending law, the Emperor’s claim. Chorus Raise the Chalice, black as night! Fill it full of holy light! The First, the pure, the vow we keep, The Emperor wakes though mortals sleep! [Outro-Slow fade, organ echo] "The Chalice endures. The Faith is eternal."
