[Verse 1] The posters appeared overnight On every wall beneath the light No one knew from where they came Only whispers of his name The old fairground woke from sleep Secrets buried far too deep Broken rides began to turn And somewhere fires started to burn ⸻ [Pre-Chorus] A shadow walking through the haze A wicked smile, a deadly gaze You hear the laughter in the dark And feel the fear inside your heart ⸻ [Chorus] He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) The carnival obeys his will! He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) He Is Here To Kill! Beware! Dark Jester running the show tonight! ⸻ [Verse 2] The ticket booth is open wide But nobody is seen inside The ferris wheel begins to spin Once you’re out, you’re pulled back in Painted faces watch you pass Reflections moving through the glass Every step you take is wrong Yet still you’re drawn to sing along ⸻ [Pre-Chorus] The ringmaster has claimed his throne Tonight you’ll never make it home The spotlight shines a ghostly white As madness dances through the night ⸻ [Chorus] He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) The carnival obeys his will! He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) He Is Here To Kill! Beware! Dark Jester running the show tonight! ⸻ [Bridge] Step right up! Step right up! The show’s about to start! Step right up! Step right up! He’s coming for your heart! ⸻ [Crowd Break] Dark Jester! (Dark Jester!) Dark Jester! (Dark Jester!) Who’s running the show tonight?! DARK JESTER! ⸻ [Final Chorus] He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) The carnival obeys his will! He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) He Is Here To Kill! Beware! Dark Jester running the show tonight! He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) Beware! Dark Jester running the show tonight! He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) The carnival obeys his will! He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) He Is Here To Kill! Beware! Dark Jester running the show tonight! He Is Here To Kill! (Hey! Hey!) Beware! Dark Jester running the show tonight!
