Discovered in 1930, Pluto was once recognized as the ninth planet of our Solar System. In 2006, after the definition of a planet was redefined, Pluto was reclassified as a dwarf planet and left the family of nine. The song turns this story into a metaphor for a lonely wanderer who finally finds a place to belong, only to realize that being different means taking a different path. Pluto’s heart-shaped ice field symbolizes a heart that never truly melted. And “See You Again” is not a goodbye, but a hope of meeting again someday.
