I Remember the Beginning of Time

A dark, cinematic symphonic metal track with powerful female lead vocals, Deep choirs, gothic atmosphere, dramatic orchestral layers, evolving intensity, Heavy guitars blend with sweeping strings and ethereal pads, Dynamic rhythm changes, shifting between soft mystical verses and massive explosive choruses, Tone: spiritual, mythic, dramatic, fate-driven, ancient and majestic

(calm · mythic · wide)

Verse 1
I remember the first of time,
When light was all, and space was wide.
From light arose a single wish:
To feel, to touch, to truly live.

To shape a form with sense and sight,
To walk a path through day and night.
From that first step, from that first skin,
The journey into shadow began.

Pre-Chorus
For where a body learned to stand,
It cast a shade upon the land.

Chorus
I remember the fire inside,
The force that taught us how to rise.
And the longing of my counterpart
To carry life, pure at the start.
But where there’s light, a shadow grows—
We had to learn what care bestows.
To take responsibility
For every life we set free.
That’s when the wandering through stars began.

Verse 2
The first-born children lacked our care,
We were untrained, unsure, unaware.
They reached for truths too vast, too fast,
For ancient light they could not grasp.

They sought the secret to endless days,
To break all limits, bend all ways.
But they were not prepared to see
The weight of conscious eternity.

Pre-Chorus 2
So knowledge stepped behind a veil,
And memory began to fail.

Chorus
I remember the fire inside,
The gift that made us feel alive.
And the spark that drove us to create,
To give life early—deep and naïve.
But from the wish to take a form
Came guilt and envy, fear and harm.
That was the start of suffering—
And also where it ends.

Bridge
Since then we enter life unaware,
The contract lost in birth and air.
We search for answers in the dark,
Forgetting what we chose at start.

Final Chorus
I remember—not as a claim,
But as a quiet inner flame.
Where light was dream before it split,
And form and shadow came from it.
Whoever truly dares to see
Remembers responsibility.
That memory—once reclaimed—
Is where all suffering unchains.

Outro
From light the longing first arose,
From longing—joy and pain both grew.
And those who remember deeply know:
The beginning
is also the way through.
