Their commander, the brash Brynhildr, felt that synthetic faith was a mere wisp of wind, and would be snuffed out quickly. However, the noble Geriskogul cautioned that if Testament were to succeed, she could create a canto powerful enough to overthrow the Rave itself, changing the very laws of the universe. Resolving to stop her, the Valkyries called upon their einherjar, chosen warriors from the pages of history bound to serve. Brynhildr also learned of the soldier, Sleipnir, and sought her out. Despite the Valkyrie’s words, Sleipnir refused to believe Testament would lead her astray.
