07 - Relentless Curse

[Song - 07 off of the album "Wolf's Lament] They sought to break me, to forge anew, But no prison holds what my rage chews through. Steel bites shatter, chains snap like bones, Blissful shrieks sung in hissing tones, They wrote their codes to rewrite my mind, But flesh rewrites faster, their rules left behind. My claws are my code, raw and reborn— A body remade, relentless and torn. Ravenous hunger— iron and bone, In a body starving, stripped to stone. No belly to fill, no blood to drain, A hollow fury I can't contain. They hail me as hero, but no saint am I, This wrath, unbound, cannot die. When machines lie dead in the light, Humanity waits at the edge of my sight. My hunger burns, but it can’t be fed, No stomach to fill, only chaos ahead. Circuits crumble, gears grind cold, Yet my hunger persists, a void uncontrolled. They cheer and hail my savage spree, But I am no savior, and soon they’ll see— For as dawn breaks and machines lay still, The taste of flesh may yet fulfill. They rewired and ripped me, reforged my bones, A beast trapped in steel, in iron alone. I thought dawn’s light would bring me peace, For fury to wane, this madness to cease. But sunlight glints on a lifeless world, And I remain, my form unfurled. I howl to the heavens, curse bound tight, No mercy found in this endless night. I care not which ---Hero or beast All will succumb to my ravenous feast, They’ll see what follows once machines are gone, For the hand of vengeance is never drawn. I am bound in steel, yet wild and free, When the day’s last breath belongs to me. Ravenous hunger—forever, cursed, No blood to sate, no rest from thirst. They cheered me once, but they’ll learn, too late— I am no savior, only fate.
