The leaves are changing once again. And that cold weather's rollin' in. It was foggy all morning and frost. Started to gather on the glass. The days are gettin' shorter. And it's bout the time. We woulda hit up the pumpkin patch. But I'll just stay home. And heat up some cider. And I'll dunk some ginger snaps. Open up some boxes and. Dust off one of your sweaters. And think of when times were better. Before all of this hoodie weather. Might make myself a new scarf. And a matchin' beanie. For what it's worth. And i'll curl up on my chair, with my cat and my blanket. And keep myself cozy and warm. And I'll take too many naps this season. Reed more books and. Find a few more reasons. To make some calls to catch up. And chat with all my friends. And when the nights get a bit too cold. For me to keep my windows open. I'll break out my canvases. And fill em with my imagination. Then I'll paint up a world. Where the sun still kept us warm. And you were still there to hold me through the storms. And I'll swim in the sleeves. Of one of your old dusty sweaters. And think of when times were better. Before all of this hoodie weather.
