Memorial Day - Heaviest - By: EdTi

V6

Memorial Day blue stripes for working class, upon the backs which built this great nation. red stripes, the blood of the brothers and sisters in service, both then and now. white stripes, bind us with the chains of liberty. stars, for the citizens, who inhabit this land with their dreams They are gone but not forgotten, left to fight in wars so rotten There only begotten daughters and sons, left to die of lies forgotten. Lay now in a grave so solemn, of a land which has ended half hollow Misspent youths from a misspent past, those times never last. Leaders who lie and spit on integrity, politics so divine it makes science heresy They fought with valor for a land so true, they fought with honor for a land for you. Fed by lies from a media stream, tell us now of the American dream is it now, all it used to seem, does it mean, all it used to mean? We say on this Memorial Day, all the warriors fallen gone astray. Remember the world you knew then, for the world we inhabited is gone like them. A nation once stood proud side by side, now wilted away and fallen in stride. We the people so divided and refuse to see all we cast away from sea to shining sea. The divided states of America, and the Republic which cannot stand. Led by traitors and thieves, bigots and billionaires, pedoes voted in by you and me. They lead for them, and not for US, the flag now a symbol of burned trust. The Bill of Rights secure on the fire, on the pulpit, just another liar. In times when truth is a sin, to stand alone, and ask where has lady liberty been. This land of decadence sired, yet Gomorrah ends up admired. Bleed in reverence this Memorial Day, a league of warriors gone their way. Sad would they be to see us now, unimpressive fools, clowns, set to bring the circus down Speak of ire and controversy, lands fed tired of magnamonius insensitivity. We lead ourselves to nowhere, our leaders left US so far behind A nation of youth, when will these glorious minds awaken. To see all that was taken, educations so rotten and forsaken Call your family now this memorial day, even with nothing to say let them know you are there, you care, and if needed, an eagle that would dare should you not be aware, love, love, love should always be a secret shared A place so great and grand, now follows leaders, not even plans. Like some charge of attrition up a hill, we forget piss rolls down hill Led by those who have never led, they break the truth, we feast on lies Time to realize they're not leaders, just cloaked serpents bid US to die. Scream in reverence this Memorial Day, why have all of our warriors lost their way. the monopolies have drained her dry, now, all she can do is cry. the land of kings and tyrants, what we swore we would never be. now, now, now it's all we see the tree of liberty is a vampire, and she is starving she grew wise and bold off the blood of martyrs, martyrs, martyrs. Now, stripped clean and barren, just like, the american dream
