(Tobu Toki / When He Jumps) (NDC TT)

[Verse 1] Beyond the trees, a shadow stood Even the wind went still In the silence of the night It was only watching us [Verse 2] Slowly bending at the knees It loosened from the ground It didn’t run, it didn’t fall It just drifted upward [Pre-Chorus] In that moment, time stood still And the world slipped far away [Chorus] When it jumps It doesn’t touch a thing It rises past the dark Reaching toward the light If we stay completely still If we don’t make a sound Do you think it would take us Up to where it goes? [Verse 3] Not a single trace remained The place kept changing shape Every time we looked again It never stayed the same [Verse 4] It feels like it’s getting closer now To where the moon hangs low But if it’s the same place We just don’t know [Pre-Chorus 2] Something’s calling from afar But something’s still here too [Chorus] When it jumps It doesn’t touch a thing It rises past the dark Reaching toward the light If we reach our hands out If we close our eyes Do you think we could get there To that height? [Outro] Don’t move It might come back Don’t close your eyes It might disappear Hey… you saw it too, right?
