He's more than a teacher More than a good man More than somebody we read about Let's see what the Bible says [Verse 1] In the beginning was the Word And the Word was with God And the Word was God That's what the Bible says Then the Word became flesh And came to live with us Jesus came from heaven Because He loved us He walked with the broken He healed the sick and weak He welcomed little children And taught the truth they needed He showed us who God is He showed us how to love And everything He did Pointed people up above [Chorus] Jesus is God Jesus is Lord Jesus is the Savior The One we adore He is the Son And He is God too He came down from heaven To make all things new So walk with Jesus Follow where He leads Trust Him with your heart And live the way He teaches When you fall, get back up When you're scared, pray Keep your eyes on Jesus And follow Him each day [Verse 2] Jesus said, "I and My Father are one" He wasn't just a prophet He wasn't just a son He came to save the sinners He came to set us free He died upon the cross Then rose in victory He took the punishment That we could never pay Then He rose up from the grave And conquered death that day Now He is alive And reigning as our King And everyone who trusts Him Can have new life in Him [Chorus] Jesus is God Jesus is Lord Jesus is the Savior The One we adore He is the Son And He is God too He came down from heaven To make all things new So walk with Jesus Follow where He leads Trust Him with your heart And live the way He teaches When you fall, get back up When you're scared, pray Keep your eyes on Jesus And follow Him each day [Verse 3] You don't have to know everything You don't have to have it planned You just need to trust the Savior And hold onto His hand When the world gets loud Remember what is true Your identity is found In Christ who made you new Bear the fruit He teaches Let love guide what you do Show kindness, peace and patience Let your faithfulness shine through Put on God's armor Stand firm in His Word And when you don't know what to do Remember what you've heard [Bridge] Jesus knows your name Jesus knows your heart Jesus gives you mercy When you've fallen apart The Holy Spirit helps you The Father loves you too One God, three Persons And Jesus died for you Father, Son, and Spirit Three Persons, one God Holy, good and faithful Forever You are God [Final Chorus] Jesus is God Jesus is Lord Jesus is the Savior The One we adore He is the Son And He is God too He came down from heaven To make all things new So walk with Jesus Follow where He leads Trust Him with your heart And live the way He teaches When you fall, get back up When you're scared, pray Keep your eyes on Jesus And follow Him each day [Final Bridge] When I'm happy, I will follow When I'm hurting, I will pray When I don't know what tomorrow brings I'll trust Him anyway When I mess up, I'll turn around When I'm afraid, I'll stand Because Jesus is my Savior And my life is in His hands [Outro] Who is Jesus?
