No Fear In The Atmosphere
They said you made God angry, said you broke His heart Said your sin shook heaven, tore His world apart But hold up what kinda God can be torn by clay? If He formed the vessel, how it run away? You mean the infinite lost control of the scene? The Author of all got surprised by a dream? Nah if it exists, it passed through His hand So explain how creation escapes His plan If He is Spirit, not flesh, not bone What can hurt what stands alone? You can’t bruise light with a shadow cast Can’t break the source by the things that pass So what is sin if not a view? A lens we look at life through Not something that can fracture the Whole But a misread line in a written scroll You can’t hurt what holds it all You can’t break what built the wall If we live and move inside How you wound what can’t divide? Untouchable… say it clear No fear in the atmosphere If God is Life, then understand You’re movin’ inside His hand They taught fear, wrapped it up as respect But fear implies there’s a threat to protect What’s God guarding? What could He lose? If He’s the Source, what could you remove? You think your thoughts caught Him off guard? Like eternity stumbled, caught slippin’ hard? If He knows the end from the start of the page Then your “mistakes” ain’t breakin’ the stage You say sin hurts Him emotionally torn? Then God’s dependent on the day you were born That makes the Infinite subject to you That flips the whole definition askew No pain is real where the body resides Consequences live where the vessel abides But Spirit untouched, unchanged, the same Before your first breath spoke His name You can’t hurt what holds it all You can’t break what built the wall If we live and move inside How you wound what can’t divide? Untouchable… say it clear No fear in the atmosphere If God is Life, then understand You’re movin’ inside His hand If all things are in Him… Then what is outside Him? If nothing is outside Him… Then what stands against Him? Think. Genesis said it everything good Not “mostly right,” not “as it should” Everything made, stamped complete Before we ever walked the street So what changed? Not Him that’s fact Only the lens that we look through cracked We read chapter two like that’s the start Forgot page one and split it apart We think we’re bodies beggin’ for breath Fearin’ a God who controls our death Instead of life lookin’ out through form Watchin’ itself in every storm So sin ain’t a weapon aimed at the throne It’s mistakin’ the mask for the one who’s known And God ain’t hurt, shaken, or scarred You can’t damage what you are inside of You can’t hurt what holds it all You can’t break what built the wall If we live and move inside How you wound what can’t divide? Untouchable… no disguise No separation, no divide If God is Life, then understand There’s no outside of I AM
