Christ Is My Life. Christ Is My Light.

[Intro — Spoken Word] In the beginning was the Word. In Him was life. And the life was the light of men. We were dead in sin, buried beneath our guilt— Until the voice of Jesus called! [Verse 1] I had no life that I could claim, No power to break the chains of shame. My heart was stone, my eyes were blind, No hope of heaven could I find. But Christ spoke life into the night, And called my darkness into light. The voice that summoned Lazarus Has power to awaken us! [Pre-Chorus] Not by my strength! Not by my will! The voice of Christ is calling still! From death to life, from night to day— His mighty Word has made a way! [Chorus — Massive Choir] CHRIST IS MY LIFE! CHRIST IS MY LIGHT! He called me out of endless night! CHRIST IS MY LIFE! MY SOUL SHALL SING! I live because He lives, my King! The Alpha, Omega, Beginning and End— My Savior, my Lord, my closest Friend! CHRIST IS MY LIFE! FOREVERMORE! The grave has lost its prisoner! [Verse 2] He is the Word that came in flesh, The living hope that conquers death. The Bread of Life, the living stream, The risen Lord, my waking dream. His life within me springs anew, His faithful promises are true. No human wisdom gave me breath— Christ brought me from the grave of death! [Pre-Chorus] The Father raises! The Son gives life! His voice cuts through the darkest night! Hear Him calling! Hear Him say: “Believe—and pass from death today!” [Chorus] CHRIST IS MY LIFE! [Verse 3 — Building Intensity] I did not find Him on my own, He sought me when I stood alone. The faith I hold, the hope I know, Come from the grace He gave below. He starts the work, He makes it whole, He guards the life within my soul. From first awakening to the end, On Christ alone my hopes depend! [Breakdown — Spoken Word] Dead in sin— But Christ called my name! Blind in darkness— But Christ became my light! Thirsting for life— He gave me living water! I was lost— But Jesus Christ has made me alive! [Build — Choir Enters] Wake up, O sleeper! Rise from the dead! Christ is the life! Lift up your head! The tomb is empty! The Savior reigns! The risen Lord has broken death's chains! [Final Chorus — Full Power] CHRIST IS MY LIFE! CHRIST IS MY LIGHT! He called me out of endless night! CHRIST IS MY LIFE! MY SOUL SHALL SING! I live because He lives, my King! The Alpha, Omega, Beginning and End— The One who saves, the One who will defend! CHRIST IS MY LIFE! FOREVERMORE! My risen Savior, whom I adore! CHRIST IS MY LIFE! CHRIST IS MY SONG! In Him I live, to Him belong! From death to life, His grace has won— My life is hidden in God's Son! [Outro — Choir, Triumphant] Christ is my life! Christ is my light! Jesus, my Savior— My resurrection and life! [Spoken Series Outro] Inspired by a Sermon Gem from Charles Haddon Spurgeon. Christ Our Life—Soon to Appear. Sermon Six Seventeen. Christ Crucified.
