[Intro] [Verse 1] Oh the clumsy waiter with hands like sails He drops the rum and tips the ales Plates go flyin’ with a mighty clatter He’s the tavern’s own disaster chatter [Chorus] Hey! Ho! Watch him go! Dancing with mugs in a tidal flow Crash! Bang! Hear the show The clumsy waiter steals the glow... [Verse 2] His tray’s a ship that’s lost its keel Spinning like a drunken wheel Forks and knives take to the air Landing in a patron’s hair [Chorus] Hey! Ho! Watch him go! Dancing with mugs in a tidal flow Crash! Bang! Hear the show The clumsy waiter steals the glow... [Bridge] The crowd erupts with a hearty cheer As stew goes swimming in a mug of beer He bows so grand with a wobbly grin Then drops a spoon and starts again [Verse 3] Oh he may not pour without a spill But he fills the room with laughter still The clumsy waiter A legend bold In the tales of taverns he'll be told [Chorus] Hey! Ho! Watch him go! Dancing with mugs in a tidal flow Crash! Bang! Hear the show The clumsy waiter steals the glow...
