Just One More Chance
SWBEATS @ SUNO • 2026 • 😎 Original: Poeme by Valentina Batura Shattered glass. Tears on the asphalt. You slipped away before I could say goodbye. This empty house is a tomb of memories. Just a grand piano and the echoes of your voice. I fell to my knees in the dark. I looked up at the silence and begged for a spark. Just one more chance, Lord, give her back to me. I'd trade it all to rewrite history. Take whatever you want, just let her breathe the air. A desperate man, a dangerous prayer. Weeks of shadows, drinking the grief. No sign of mercy, no sweet relief. But then... A sound pierces the dead of night. The doorbell rings. Once. Twice. My blood turns to ice. Trembling hands reach for the wood. I open the door. She is standing exactly where she always stood. She’s there. She’s real. My chest begins to tighten. My heart starts to pound. So fast. So loud. The ultimate deal. A soul for a soul! The reaper’s exchange! My chest caves in, it's perfectly arranged! I fall to the floor as she calls out my name! She’s alive in the light... and I take the flame! The deal is done. She is breathing... But she's all alone.
