Today, I’m gonna introduce some request emails sent in by good kids all around the world. (I will, I will!) Santa Claus is right here next to me, picking out the messages. (Hey, hey!) If your email gets read today, Santa’s got a present for you, so look forward to it! The first letter is from Kevin in London. Thanks for the email. “I want a MacBook. Santa, please.” A MacBook, huh… I kinda want one too. Hey Santa, where do you even get those? Do you go to the Apple Store or something? You’re not making those in the toy factory, right? You buy them straight from Apple? Yeah, thought so. How many do you buy? Two thousand this year? That many? You buy iPhones and iPads too? And just give them away for free, right? Isn’t that an endless deficit? Hey old man, where’s all that money coming from? They say nothing’s impossible for Santa, he’ll give you any present you want. Good kids, get your stockings ready, and wait for the morning to come. The presents Santa gives, send your requests like crazy. This is the North Pole Santa Request Hour. “Kevin gets a cute elephant T-shirt.” …Not a MacBook? The second letter is from Kim in Vietnam. Thanks for the email. “I want peace in the world. A world where everyone can live without fear. Santa, please.” So, what do you think about this one? What do you think? Don’t stare off into the distance like that. Yeah… that’s a tough one, even for Santa. Hey Kim, this is something the whole world has to think about together. Even this old guy has things he can’t do. If he could, he would, right? Yeah, I know. But you can make children smile, and maybe that’s the first step toward peace. Turns out Santa can’t do everything, world affairs are out of his hands. No matter how many stockings you hang, some things you just have to give up. The presents Santa sends, please keep it reasonable. This is the North Pole Santa Request Hour. “Kim gets a cute elephant T-shirt.” Why elephant T-shirts, anyway? Because you still have tons left from Thailand? Every box stacked in the conference room is all elephant T-shirts? Over a thousand of them? Why did you buy so many? All different elephant designs? I don’t know, man! Santa does have his limits, but he’ll still try to give what he can. Good kids, get your stockings ready, and wait for the morning light. The presents Santa gives, send your requests like crazy. This is the North Pole Santa Request Hour. That’s all for today. Your DJ was the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Bye-bye! (Bye-bye!)
