life’s so fast in this world of need… running faster, catching our feet… keep up with the neighbours, keep up with the Jones… yeah, life’s so fast on this slippery road. just little things that we don’t see, slip past us in these times of greed. we’re trying to fix what doesn’t matter, chasing what other people think… yeah, that’s what we’re after. today I saw a rainbow, stretching right across the sky. even saw its pot of gold… but I just walked on by. take the clothes from my back, the shoes from my feet… I’ve walked through this world, turns out I didn’t need much of it. I’m walking down the street, people racing by… all in a hurry, no eye to eye, no hi. so I stopped, looked around me, and no one seemed to care… about the little things around us, that make this world feel real.
