Inspired by Otherworld from Final Fantasy X (Reason for the song choice below) ________________ My entry to the #KindergartenFestival project by Δ∙Ʀ∙Q∙ Luiz★Felip≡ (@arqluizfelipe), Check out the project song here: https://suno.com/song/dc0c5535-0a65-4e5c-8949-9c024933816f?sh=qwLvHcqZhTsVXKdy And the playlist of the project here: https://suno.com/playlist/511da734-7673-4da6-a0df-bb09ac170fa3 Old or modern songs, from any country, in any language — the only rule is: 🎵 Choose a children’s song that’s part of your own memories. Then, reimagine it in your own style — could be pop, trap, metal, ambient, indie, noise, whatever! Make it funny, dramatic, dreamy or absurd. Just make it yours. To join: 🧃 Pick a children’s song that marked your childhood 🎶 Create, recreate, replace, add, or remix it using Suno — be as creative or chaotic as you want 🎨 Optional (but highly recommended): make a playful cover art — a kids' version of your "Suno Persona" or avatar, the image you normally use around here, or something that reminds you of a childlike version of your profile 🏷️ Add #KindergartenFestival to your song title 🌍 Make your song public! ________________ Alright, hear me out: I can explain! The backstory: Growing up, I never really got into any children song. Like none, I know not a single one. But was reminded of a vivid memory and song from my youth when thinking about this project. This song is a reprise/homage to "Otherworld" from Final Fantasy X, which released when I was still a pretty young lad. My brother had bought the game pretty much the day it got out, and would often play it. But also not really let me access the playstation. Now, being apparently a godlike sneaky little goblin at the time, I would stealthily enter his room without waking him up, unplug the entire system from his room and bring it back to the living room so I could play the game (I'm not saying I was in the right, but its what happened). On an almost daily basis, no matter what he tried, I'd get the console out without waking him. He would, however, also hide the memory card elsewhere. And delete all my save files if I made any (So I quickly didn't bother saving). The result was that I would almost daily redo the entire intro of FFX before he woke up and recover the PS2. Usually I'd get up to Besaid Island. Needless to say, I can do the intro of the game almost blindfolded at this point. And have spent a good chunk of my formative years listening to Otherworld, which plays very close to the beginning of the game. Hence, it seemed like the only song I could choose for this project. I didn't really try to alter the song style, rather try to recapture the feeling of awe and energy I had before it as a child. 🎮🧡🌀⚔️🔥🛡️💀🎮💀🛡️🔥⚔️🌀🧡🎮 _______________ [Verse 1] Bow now... if you need it Another world awaits you Don’t you... give up on it Don't bite the hand that'll break you [Verse 2] On your own, you face the slumber Memories of it grant you sight Through the dark, some dreams you wander Have you lost the way, golden knight? Hold now, blades at the ready! The other world beckons you! One million years, you ready? The Other world shall eat you! (S-s-s-step into the realm, face the storm and the lies) (Ri-ri-ri-rise now, there’s no turning back, it's do or die) (F-f-f-free me, listen to the void, the prayer that echoes nigh) (F-f-f-feed me... fuel me... and get ready to) FIGHT! (You will never! Never will be!) (You don't know yet! You will!) (You will never! Never will be!) (You would never! You will!) (You know it! you know it! you know it!) (You know you will! You know you want to!) FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! BREAK! BREAK! BREAK! BREAK! BREAK! BREAK! BREAK! BREAK! BREAK! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! [Verse 3] Hope fades as you wander The other world remade you Your dreams, now torn asunder The Other World welcomed you [Outro] Free now, rise above it Up through the fire, swallow it Go now, you want it Go now, you earned it
