[Verse 1] As I sit in this sanctuary My heart is calm my soul is rested Pages of my life flash in front of me All my careful planning Scatters at Your feet Every broken promise Echoes in my mind Then I hear You calling Child You’re MINE! [Chorus] I’m looking unto Jesus Author of my Story You’re writing in the margins Where I thought that it had ended You don’t only start it You’re the finisher of my faith! The Finisher of my Faith! [Verse 2] You were there At the beginning When I barely knew who I was Tiny Trembling (yes Lord) You received me just the same Now through years of victories You’re still by my side Kind And true Every step yet to be written Will Find its ending in You!! OHHH IN YOU !!! [Chorus] I’m looking unto Jesus Author of my Story You’re writing in the margins Where I thought that it had ended You don’t only start it You’re the finisher of my faith! The Finisher of my Faith!!!! Ohhh! [Bridge] When I’m faithless You stay faithful (oh) When I’m shaken You stay the same !! When I’m weak You still hold!! (Ahh Jesus!) Every chapter Every trial You are God ! Of every Season! So I fix my eyes on You Where my striving fades You begin your grace!! You will bring all things to pass!! [Chorus] I’m looking unto Jesus Author of my Story You’re writing in the margins Where I thought that it had ended You don’t only start it You’re the finisher of my faith! The Finisher of my Faith! [Ending Bridge] I Will trust you!!! I will trust you! You are God ! Of every Season! So I fix my eyes on You Where my striving fades You begin your grace!! You will bring all things to pass.
