Alarm go off, sun in my face, Reach for the tray on the bedside place. Check the jar, check the drawer, check the bag Nothin’ but dust and a lighter tag. No blunt, no wrap, no roll, Just me and this restless soul. Whole day feelin’ kinda sideways, Bluntless Sunday, stuck in my ways. No blunt, no wrap, no roll, Empty hands and an empty bowl. Should’ve left it, should’ve walked away, But I went too far that day. Threw on sweats, slid out the door, Hit the corner spot, neighborhood store. Walked in slow, said, “What’s good, my dude?” He said, “We sold out, man, bad news.” Hit spot two, then spot three, Same sad answer starin’ back at me. Wall of chips, every drink in sight, But not one wrap for my day or night. Phone in my hand, thought, “Who can I text?” Scroll through names, laughin’ at my mess. No one close, nobody home, Just me and this need to be stoned. Back on the couch, mind in a spin, Lookin’ for anything paper-thin. Eyes hit a book on the little side stand, Holy text with a worn-out band. Should’ve closed it, walked away slow, But I wasn’t thinkin’, I just wanted that glow. Tore one page with a shaky hand, Folded my guilt in a paper band. Spark hit the edge, smoke hit my lungs, Whole room heavy, whole body numb. TV playin’ but it all went gray, Felt my soul start driftin’ away. Thunder in the house, no clouds in sight, Walls start hummin’ with a strange white light. Heard a voice boom low, cut through the fog: “You really rolled up My word in a log?” Heart froze cold, mind went blank, Like I overdrew some holy bank. Couch turned pew, smoke turned flame, Every bad choice shoutin’ out my name. This ain’t hype, this ain’t flex, Just a fool gettin’ checked by a sacred text. No blunt, no wrap, no roll, Just me and this shaken soul. Next thing, woke up on the same old couch, Friend say, “Bro, you zoned out, ouch.” No blunt, no wrap, no roll, Should’ve left that Bible whole. Now I laugh, but I learned that day: Some lines you don’t cross for a fade. This a caution tale, not a weed ad, Just a story ‘bout a choice gone bad. If you ever feel that tempted clutch, Hear this track and don’t do too much.
