The leaves are like children And the trees are families The woods form the nations In forest communities. All shapes and sizes With dark and light shades of bark Some stand so tall But seem so lost when leaves they fall. The children flee like leaves from trees It’s the season for their reason They spread their seeds, form family trees In another region. The family grows, new branches form But all will die in time Leaves drift and fade away Seeds succeed and fail.
