Run for the Trees

Wen ulabaleka oh you are running away Ku lezontaba Oh those far away mountains Wen ulabaleka Ku lezontaba When days are long but the years are short Do I plant that tree Knowing that I will never stand on its shade Do I stand upon the fort With guns a blazing Or storm the walls To look amazing Do you love the arrow that flies or the bow that is stable Do you look for beauty in the face Or see it in the heart Or in pretty lace Or run if your able Is there space In your togetherness Do the winds of the stars blow between you What do you see when you look in the mirror Nothing new What do you learn from the mirror Who is it that looks back at you Wen ulabaleka Wen ulabaleka Ku lezontaba Ku lezontaba What do you see When you look in the mirror Nothing new What do you learn from the mirror Who is it that looks back at you Take two steps forward And one step back Your one step better on the track You can’t possess what it is you lack Take two steps forward one step back Wen ulabaleka Ku lezontaba Wen ulabaleka Ku lezontaba What do you see When you look in the mirror Nothing new What do you learn from the mirror Who is it that looks back at you Wen ulabaleka Ku lezontaba Run for the trees Run for the trees Run for the trees Wen ulabaleka Ku lezontaba Wen ulabaleka Ku lezontaba Wen ulabaleka Ku lezontaba
