[Verse 1] Torches on the battlements Steel and scripture in their hands Candles burn in hidden towers Circles drawn in secret sand One side swears the storms will serve them "Let the thunder guard our gates" Others clutch their worn-out banners "Open doors And darkness waits" [Chorus] Ashes of the aether Falling in our eyes Brothers turned to strangers underneath these skies Power in our fingers Poison in our prayers We are bound together in this fracture In this tear [Verse 2] Armor lined with binding sigils Helms engraved with careful runes Priests cry out for broken shackles "Turn away Or be consumed" On the field The lines are drawn Glow and iron Faith and fear Every spell a vow for shelter Every warning drowned in cheers [Chorus] [Bridge] [low vocal register] "Guard the weak " the casters whisper "Ignite the greed " the elders warn "Shield our homes " the covens promise "Sell your souls " the doubters scorn Drums like distant Marching heartbeats Banners soaked in rain and smoke In the clash of oath and omen Who is saved And who is broke [Chorus] Ashes of the aether Falling in our eyes Brothers turned to strangers underneath these skies Power in our fingers Poison in our prayers But we are bound together in this fracture In our tears [Instrumental outro] [End]
