Give Me Understanding

Give me understanding Through the hard times and the good May I continue to focus on you With unconditional love, I seek your wisdom Your power and might are beyond my scope But the calming peace inside my soul Leads me to follow you Your laws are perfect If we all could keep the ten commandments, we would have a wonderful society We fail everyday, yet your unstoppable grace and ever present love gives us hope to strive for unending obedience. Give me understanding through this life. A peace and comfort as I serve you Lord Jesus. Through times of strife, I can become meek and muddled. You put your loving spirit in my heart and I ….follow you. Give me understanding to obey your every command. I pray and pray for clarity. Remove the fog. Lead me to the fork in the road. Guide my steps as I follow you. Give me understanding and persistence in seeking you first Jesus. Your power and might are beyond my scope But the calming peace inside my soul Leads me to follow you Abiding in you, your glory and love encapsulates our souls. Keep us real and raw. Ever present, you are, we feel your Holy spirit moving. I sit in the light of your love. Give me understanding so I may live for you here on earth… So, others will follow you too. Give me understanding in your laws. Your guide to heaven God. You said, follow me… I'm running towards you Give me winds towards you Keep me grounded in your ways Holy spirit, fill my soul
