[Verse 1] High collar to her chin, powdered makeup on her scars, coat pulled against the winter wind, in lamplit alleys beneath the stars. With Victor’s death, she felt release. She gave the murdered women peace. Her creation was for that of another, and for that, that other would suffer. She listened close to men of culture, and to paupers in the streets. She watched for the dead man like a vulture, and prayed the two would meet. [Pre-Chorus] She saw such sights, she experienced such delights, though she sought the monster through the night, her quarry remained out of sight. [Chorus] REVENGE! FOR BEING BORN! FROM DEATH’S EMBRACE MY SOUL WAS TORN! REVENGE! FOR DRAWING BREATH! YOU CURSED YOURSELF WITH YOUR OWN DEATH! [Verse 2] He left the dead where she would find them, cast aside like broken dolls each one placed there to remind her the joyless cruelty of it all. Every corpse became a warning. Every grave became a sign. Still she followed through the mourning. His blood would answer mine. [Pre-Chorus] she walked alone in the black, knowing somewhere he looked back though she sought the monster through the night, her quarry remained out of sight. [Chorus] REVENGE! FOR BEING BORN! FROM DEATH’S EMBRACE MY SOUL WAS TORN! REVENGE! FOR DRAWING BREATH! YOU CURSED YOURSELF WITH YOUR OWN DEATH! [Verse 3] North through frost and frozen rumor, following the trail he made, past the final human dwelling, past the roads where daylight stayed. Then beneath the Arctic heavens, through the blowing sheets of white, she saw him waiting on the deck— black against the ice. "MONSTER!!!!!" [Chorus] REVENGE! FOR BEING BORN! FROM DEATH’S EMBRACE MY SOUL WAS TORN! REVENGE! FOR DRAWING BREATH! YOU CURSED YOURSELF WITH YOUR OWN DEATH! [Outro] Two monsters clashing in the storm, two dead things filled with hate, tearing through the frozen ship like neither one could wait. He threw her hard against the rail. She rose and came again. He drove her backward through the snow. She staggered, refusing to bend. She caught the anchor chain in hand and dragged it through the sleet. He charged— she turned— the iron wrapped and pulled him from his feet. The anchor crashed into the black. The chain screamed through the rail. He vanished underneath the ice, still fighting as he fell. She watched until the water stilled. Until the chain went slack. she howled into the northern wind— and the storm came roaring back. REVENGE! REVENGE! REVENGE!
