Verse 1 Out in the wilderness, under desert skies, God called Moses near and opened Israel's eyes. With sacrifices offered and the altar burning bright, The Lord was teaching sinners how to walk within His light. Pre-Chorus The blood upon the mercy seat, A shadow of the Lamb we'd meet. Chorus Holy, holy, holy is the Lord, That's the message of His Word. From the priest to every nation, God provides atonement's way. Leviticus is crying out, "Come before the Lord and bow." Be holy, for He is holy, Yesterday and now. Verse 2 Aaron served before Him in garments pure and white, Offering up the sacrifices morning, noon, and night. The Day of Atonement came, the people stood in awe, A spotless goat was sent away, carrying every flaw. Pre-Chorus Every offering, every feast, Pointed to the Prince of Peace. Chorus Holy, holy, holy is the Lord, That's the message of His Word. From the priest to every nation, God provides atonement's way. Leviticus is crying out, "Come before the Lord and bow." Be holy, for He is holy, Yesterday and now. Bridge The burnt offering, grain and peace, Sin and guilt would never cease. Till Christ fulfilled the Law completely, Gave Himself both full and freely. Every priest and sacrifice, Whispered of the coming Christ. Now the veil is torn in two, And by His blood we're made anew. Final Chorus Holy, holy, holy is the Lord, Faithful to His covenant Word. What was hidden in the shadows Now in Jesus stands revealed. Leviticus still sings today, Of the One who made a way. Be holy, for He is holy, By His grace we're sealed. Outro From the wilderness to Calvary's tree, Leviticus tells the story— A holy God redeeming His people, Through Christ eternally.**
