[Intro] Fresh paint on the hallway Same name on the door We’re laughing like kids But not kids anymore [Verse 1] First day, same rules New marks on the floor Opening our lockers Just like before New stickers on my binder New pen in my hand We’re acting all cool But we still understand [Pre-Chorus] The time starts passing The air feels new One more step And we break right through Hold that moment Don’t let it fall We’re standing at the edge Of it all [Chorus] We’re seniors now We’re in the know how Hold on, hold on We’re seniors now Back of the bus Front of the crowd We’re seniors now On our way out [Verse 2] Late autumn wind On the blacktop yard Long shadows stretch And we talk so hard Your smile in the window My name in the sky Every lost day Just passed us by [Pre-Chorus] The time keeps passing The air feels new One more step And we break right through Hold that moment Don’t let it fall We’re standing at the edge Of it all [Chorus] We’re seniors now We’re in the know how Hold on, hold on We’re seniors now Back of the bus Front of the crowd We’re seniors now On our way out [Bridge] Remember the bleachers The games in the rain All the class trophies The wins and the pain We’ll leave these halls But not tonight We’re still the same Just in our twilight [Chorus] We’re seniors now We’re in the know how Hold on, hold on We’re seniors now Back of the bus Front of the crowd We’re seniors now On our way out
