1 Corinthians 9 Summary

Verse 1 I'm a slave to the gospel, a servant to the cause, No rights, no privileges, just the truth I applause. Free to preach, free to teach, but bound by duty, To share the message, no matter the cost, no matter the duty! Chorus I'm a steward of the gospel, a caretaker of the flame, No personal gain, just the message, no shame! I'll preach the truth, no matter the cost, For the sake of the gospel, I'll never be lost! Verse 2 Like a runner in a race, I give it my all, No distractions, no excuses, just the finish line's call. Every athlete exercises self-control, I discipline my body, to keep it in control! Bridge In the temple, the priests serve with pride, But I serve the gospel, with a humble stride. No privileges, no rights, just the message, For the sake of the gospel, I'll never be a mess! Chorus I'm a steward of the gospel, a caretaker of the flame, No personal gain, just the message, no shame! I'll preach the truth, no matter the cost, For the sake of the gospel, I'll never be lost! Outro I'll keep on preaching, till the end of time, For the sake of the gospel, I'll never decline! No personal gain, just the message, For the sake of the gospel, I'll never be a mess!
