I woke up this morning feeling and dealing with remorse for the something I had done, a battle God had already won. What a dream, not what it seemed. Felt so real, what does it reveal? Such a sneak, the devil trying to give me a peak. A sneak peak of damnation, a way to get back in, a way to control my Sin. Just a little toke, its only a smoke. Familiar temptation and a friendly sensation. But no, I know; it leads to victory’s devastation. God its a new day, I won’t and haven’t gone astray. We once again stopped that snakes celebration, we over came the darkness with the Light even through his fake temptation. Blow for blow you teach me how to Fight and to continue to do what is right. So blessed, you relieve my stress, help me pass the test and offer me the absolute best. Completely Undeserving, but Lord I will continue serving. Yes I confess there are thoughts in mind that are out of line. But given the sign of the times, I want and need to do more than write rhymes. I could pick my pony and share the testimony. I could step out to share my story and with a shout give you all the glory! Quitting but not forgetting after all these years has to be fate. How does it relate, for some it’s a just a a couple beers, for others it is constant tears or not being able to get over fear. For some it’s just a date and others will just wait till it is too late. It time to sound the alarm. Maybe the Third times a charm, you can avoid the harm because of his stronger arm! Don’t fall I know who to call. To some it is so small, to others it stands too tall. A mountain of shame and knowing just Who is to blame. The smell of fire and flames, pills, grass or going insane. Walking in defeat not knowing this is something they can beat. Just a habit but got to have it. Completely taboo, but not knowing what to do! Been there done that, fallen flat. Gods said he can get rid of all of That. Don’t you see the time has come, you can be set free. Come on join me and let’s make that devil flee! No matter the sin we are forgiven. Join me in prayer, let’s drop the façade give it to God.
