[Verse 1] They said fold up Take the easy road Hands on my shoulders Try to make me go But I know my weight I know my name I came this far I’ll take the flame [Pre-Chorus] Oh, I’ve been knocked around Still on my feet somehow Oh, I hear them talking down But I’m still here now [Chorus] I won’t back down No, I won’t back down You can push, you can shout I won’t back down I won’t back down No, I won’t back down Stand my ground I won’t back down [Verse 2] Cold rain on my face Mud on my shoes Every scar I wear Is proof I used to lose Now I’m standing tall Right in the hard wind If I hit the wall I’m coming back again [Pre-Chorus] Oh, I’ve been knocked around Still on my feet somehow Oh, I hear them talking down But I’m still here now [Chorus] I won’t back down No, I won’t back down You can push, you can shout I won’t back down I won’t back down No, I won’t back down Stand my ground I won’t back down [Bridge] Break me if you can I’m still breathing fire Take your best shot I only climb higher [Final Chorus] I won’t back down No, I won’t back down You can push, you can shout I won’t back down I won’t back down No, I won’t back down Stand my ground I won’t back down
