Stargazers

We breathe and still the claw, Let anger pass like wind. The storm within grows quiet, And clarity begins. The stars do not command us, They show the turning way. All things rise and fall again, All night becomes the day. We walk the edge of motion, Between the calm and fight. Strength is found in balance, Not in fury’s bite. The world is out of harmony, Its rhythm torn and strained. We mend the self, then mend the whole, Through discipline and pain. No throne, no crown, no conquest, No hunger left to feed. We master first the inner self, Before we act or lead. Under sky and silent stone, We watch the cycles spin. The path is long, the step is slow, But wisdom lies within.
