The Depth of Darkness

V5

writer's notes So, this is probably Bahia's last experimental piece(sorry for a long time lol). The Bahia rhythms alone weren't enough I think, admired the Latin rhythms of a certain American music giant, so I created my own interpretation of those rhythms and combined them with this Bahia. That man was Herb Alpert, a Latin trumpet virtuoso and founder of A&M, which launched the Carpenters and others. I believe anyone who wants to study Latin should study their music and rhythms at least once. He's a master who's still consistently releasing albums at 90 years old, and I wonder how much I learned from him. i really wish his health ! ====== [intro guitar ] [Pre-chorus] The city falls into the depths of darkness Our time has come Dripping water, the wind carries dust. Our time has come [Chorus] Darkness heals injured wings Darkness brings us closer strong scent of flowers is comforting We are just the two of us [Verse2] The city is enveloped in the depths of darkness Silence is a soothing lullaby Occasionally, passing headlights reflect the sleeping city [Bridge][rap] I'm not a kind man so I can't say anything clever I just can to hold you close like crazy That's all during night we melt into dark during night we melt into dark [Chorus] Darkness heals tired hearts Darkness brings us closer The strong scent of flowers is comforting We are just the two of us [Chorus] Darkness heals tired hearts Darkness brings us closer The strong scent of flowers is comforting We are just the two of us [pre-chorus] the sky is turning white our time is coming to an end goodbye, my love until the dark hours come again
