Good Bye Sun
Summer’s heat begins to slide, Cooler winds now start to glide. Sunset soft, no need to hide, Winter knocks from the other side. Flip-flops rest, the boots arise, Clouds now cover golden skies. No more swims or fireflies, Time for chills and warm goodbyes. Ice cream melts, the cocoa brews, Leaves turn red with frosty hues. Shorts are gone, we choose the shoes, Winter wins, and summer lose. Blankets wrap, the cold is near, Snowflakes dance, the skies are clear. Seasons shift, the change is here, Goodbye sun, hello chill cheer.
