The Vessel

(Statement 1) The Tao is empty. It is used, but never filled. An abyss, like the ancestor of ten thousand things. (Statement 2) It blunts the sharpness, Unties the knot, Softens the glare, Merges with the dust. So deep. It seems to have always existed. (Central Paradox) It seems to be older than the concept of God. (The Revelation) We shape clay into a vessel, But it is the emptiness inside That makes it useful. (The Application) We build walls with doors and windows, But it is the empty spaces through them That make the room livable. (Conclusion) Thus, existence presents advantage, But non-existence... Makes it useful.
