Here, innumerable user IDs, often cloaked by encrypted proxies – Which we have termed personae obscurae (shadow-selves) – Assume transient handles, becoming bold signal-boosters of outrage Or timid archivists of esoteric data-fragments. They are the new scribes, etching their thoughts not on wax, But into the volatile memory of the global machine. They upload data packets – these we call conjecturae rapidae (swift conjectures) – They scatter their opinions like dandelion seeds in a digital gale, Each packet brief, often sharp, sometimes encoded with the elegant compression of wit, More often dripping with the raw, unprocessed venom of the anonymous id.
